Donna Aylor
Donna Aylor
Donna's musical career began in a band singing and playing guitar to all styles of music in the West Texas area. She has been writing songs for over sixteen years. She always strives for excellence when writing each song. Donna loves to write with her many talented co-writers. She says through their shared experiences the song develops into something magical. Every day she is honing her songwriting craft and learning from master songwriters. One of her favorite quotes is from the book Romance of Atlantis, written by Taylor Caldwell. "The man that can be moved by music is happier than he whose acclaim is shouted from the hilltops."

"ASG has a very special place in my heart. Back in 1992 on a long drive to Austin in the early morning hours I was so nervous wondering what to expect at my first ASG conference. After arriving every ASG member made this West Texas gal feel very welcomed. (even through my first pitch session !!) ASG has been the driving force behind my accomplishments. Many of my co-writers are from the ASG and I am proud to call them my friends. I still ,somehow , survive the pitch sessions ...I just make sure to wear double deoderant and have a smile on my face. After all these years of attending ASG conferences and meetings the long drive back home seems to fly because in my mind I'm reliving all the good memories. THANK YOU ASG for the joy of the journey !!
